Planting Morning Glories

1. Find any living ones which are already really dry and the color of the pods has turned to brownish. Look into it by peeling the dried pods open and in it, there will be black seeds can be found.

2. Take the seeds which are ready to be harvest. For better result or chance of the seeds to grow as expected, soak in water overnight.

3. Prepare a pot which is suitable to plant the morning glories seed. It will be of a size that can fit the seeds to be 4-6 inch apart of each other, and 1/2 inch deep.

4. Plant in shallow holes. Plant each seed in a ½ inch (1.25cm) hole and cover lightly with soil. Consider planting the seeds 2 inch (5cm) apart.

4. Keep the soil moist but not foggy until the green leaves appear. Don't leave the soil dries out. Once the green leaves appear, the seedlings will be less vulnerable. The usual period of the germination will be around a week. (The first leaf to appear is called Cotyledons)

6. Provide climbing structure as they grow. Morning glories has their own uniqueness of nature; morning glories climb to anything they can find in its surrounding. This usually happens once they grow about 15cm tall. They can't climb on a flat surface.
